How to calculate recycled asphalt millings

Measure your driveway footprint
Measure the length and width of the area. For rural or long driveways, break it into 100-foot sections, calculate the square footage of each, and add them together to account for varying widths.
Target the correct finished depth
Enter the finished depth you need after rolling. A depth of 4 to 5 inches is standard for residential driveways. If heavy farm equipment or delivery trucks will use the driveway, aim for 6 inches of compacted depth.
