Efficienco welcomes pitches from contractors, builders, estimators, engineers, quantity surveyors, tradespeople, technical writers, product specialists and experienced DIYers. You do not need to claim credentials you do not have. Tell us what you know, how you know it and where the limits of that experience begin.

A useful article gives the reader something they can check and apply. Length alone is not evidence of quality.
The submission must be original, unpublished and written for Efficienco. Do not submit copied, lightly rewritten, spun or syndicated material.
Typical articles run 1,000–2,500+ words, but usefulness wins over an arbitrary word count. Explain the decision, calculation or process completely.
Cite reliable sources for standards, specifications, statistics and technical claims. Prefer primary agencies, standards bodies, manufacturers and reviewed technical references.
Worked examples, field experience, diagrams, comparison tables, formulas and calculation steps are encouraged when they genuinely improve understanding.
Use descriptive headings, short paragraphs, meaningful lists and plain language. Define specialist terms when a homeowner or newer practitioner may not know them.
State important limitations. Do not present preliminary estimating guidance as a structural design, code approval, inspection, quotation or substitute for a qualified professional.
Submission guidelines
Efficienco may edit accepted work for clarity, technical accuracy, formatting, internal linking and consistency with the site’s editorial standards. Publication is never guaranteed.
Links and AI assistance
One reasonable author or site reference may be considered when it helps identify the contributor. Contextual external links are reviewed individually. Efficienco does not guarantee that a link will be included or followed, and keyword-rich promotional anchors may be removed.
Commercial relationships must be disclosed. When appropriate, commercial links may be qualified according to Google’s guidance for outbound links.
AI assistance is acceptable when the contributor has genuinely reviewed, corrected and fact-checked the finished work. The named contributor must understand the article and stand behind every claim, calculation, source and example.
Unreviewed model output, invented citations and scaled submissions created only to target search phrases will be rejected.
Submission process
You do not need an account or contributor dashboard. A concise email is enough to start.
Include your name, role or subject experience, email and an optional website or company. Do not invent qualifications.
Send a working title, relevant topic and a two-to-four-sentence pitch explaining the reader, problem and useful outcome.
Add a previous writing sample if available. If the draft already exists, include a readable Google Doc or document link with appropriate access.
The pitch is checked for fit, originality, usefulness and conflicts with existing content. A request for changes is not a publication commitment.
Send the topic, your experience and the practical result the reader will leave with.
